Prior to JPMorgan Chase, Phil spent over 13 years in senior leadership at Verizon Communications. As Senior Director & Head of Consumer Digital Sales & Experience, he built & scaled a $23 billion digital commerce & sales portfolio across mobile, web, & app platforms, delivering $1.2 billion in incremental revenue, 30% year-over-year growth, & operating yields exceeding 70% through AI-powered personalization & end-to-end product modernization. He led multi-year enterprise transformations that brought product, marketing, & customer experience into alignment behind a single, commercially-driven growth strategy.
Earlier at Verizon, Phil held a series of senior roles spanning the digital commercialization of the company's 5G mobility & fixed wireless offerings, large-scale omni-channel shopping experience transformation, & the pioneering of Verizon's real-time & performance marketing operating models. Across these roles, he drove $5 billion in annualized revenue growth through data-driven innovation, & measurably improved acquisition, engagement, & retention at scale.
A recognized voice in digital marketing, commerce, & enterprise transformation, Phil is the founder of Burrows Stotz Digital Advisory, where he advises organizations at the intersection of AI, commerce, & product innovation. He served on the Advisory Board for CMSWire & is a Founding Member of The Athena Project, a senior executive community shaping the next generation of digital-native leadership.
